Ingredients
5 oz 5 Canned chicken with juice
1/3 cup 1/3 Yellow corn meal
1 ea 1 Egg
Directions
- Preheat over to 350*
- Place the chicken and juice into a small mixing bowl.
- Use your hands to break apart the chicken and turn it into mush.
- Add the cornmeal and egg and mix together well.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the mixture on the parchment paper to about a 1/4″ thickness.
- Score the mixture using a knife into cubes.
- Bake for 4 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cut thru the score lines.
- Bake another 2-4 minutes. Do not let them brown.
- Remove from oven and allow treats to cool.
- Store in a sealed container – preferably in the refrigerator. Treats should be consumed (by the cat!) in 5-7 days to ensure freshness.
